Vendor Instructions & Logistics
Day-of schedule
9:00 AM to 10:30 AM – Vendors arrive and set up
Vendors not operating out of a truck/trailer may park in the church parking lot at 225 W 500 N.
All vehicles must be parked by 10:30 AM. No new vehicles will be allowed in the festival area after this time.
11:00 AM – Scheduled festival start time
4:00 PM – Vehicles will be permitted to leave the festival area with a safety escort.
Food trucks and other prepared food vendors are encouraged to stay through dinner until festival end.
8:00 PM – Scheduled festival end time. All vehicles must vacate by 9 PM.
Check in
Upon arrival, check in at the CapHill booth. We will confirm your assigned space and help you locate it on the festival grounds.
Festival layout and space assignments are still being finalized. Check back later for updates!
Check out
When you are ready to leave, visit the CapHill booth again to we can have a volunteer assist you and make sure your vehicle can leave in a way that is both safe for you and for festival-goers. Thank you for your participation!
Safety
Tents and membranes
Securing the structures is the responsibility of the owner/operator.
All tents and membrane structures must be properly secured in case of wind (40 mph basic wind speed and 90 mph 3-second gust). NO STAKES ARE ALLOWED.
If you don’t have commercially produced weights, you can use a 5-gallon bucket filled with water or sand to get approximately 40 lbs of weight at the corner, or you might find other DIY options online, e.g., https://www.google.com/search?q=diy+canopy+weight
Food safety
Prepared Food Vendors must comply with Salt Lake County Health Department permitting and food safety requirements

Food trucks/trailers
A current fire inspection is required for every food truck or trailer
If you have not submitted this yet, please send a photo to events@caphillslc.org ASAP!
Propane cylinders shall be stored at least 5 feet from the truck/trailer
Fuel tanks shall be stored securely
Please help us make sure we maintain the necessary clearance around your truck at all times
Minimum 10 feed clearance from buildings and other trucks/trailers
20 foot wide fire lane
